South Shore Topaz Lake

  Located south of Gardnerville, this 1,850 acre lake is on the California/Nevada border at the base of the Sierra Nevada Range and boasts 26 miles of shoreline. The lake is stocked by both states and is best known for trout in the 8-10 pound range. Topaz has boat ramps, a full service marina and campgrounds. The lake is closed from October thru December. Fishing licenses from California and Nevada are honored on the lake.
